Through the hard work of Owen County Emergency Services Pediatric Coordinator Paramedic Nicki Sullivan, OCEMS recently acquired nearly 150 stuffed toys from major retailer Ty Inc. to be distributed to pediatric patients transported by the service.
Sullivan, along with members of her shift, filled several care bags with the stuffed toys (Beanie Babies), coloring books, crayons, and a temporary tattoo. The care bags will be placed on all front-line ambulances beginning today.
