The Owen County Community Programs Division (CPD) works to improve the quality of life for Owen countians. This is accomplished by focused efforts in the following areas:
External fund acquisition and grant management
Management of county funds designated for specific community-oriented programs
Projects and programs arising from community needs and priorities identified by community organizations.
Target goals are achieved by conducting grant searches, fund application submission, managing grant awards, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, which may involve special conditions with grant funding to meeting the challenges, needs, and opportunities facing Owen County.
The Community Programs Administrator provides policy guidance, proposal review, and oversight of funds to ensure consistency, efficiency, and accountability of funds and program initiatives and goals for various county departments.
