Judge/Executive Casey Ellis yesterday administered the oath of office to Blake Lewis, Owen County's newest sheriff's deputy. Lewis is currently attending the Department of Criminal Justice basic training academy and will graduate in November. Owen County Sheriff Mark Bess and Owen County Sheriff's Deputy Brent Caldwell witnessed the swearing-in held at the Owen County Courthouse. Please help us welcome Blake to the sheriff's office and wish him luck as he enters his career in law enforcement!
